I am a value driven senior leader with 25 years senior leadership experience in the social and supported housing sector. Outside of work I am a keen (slow!) runner and volunteer as the Event Director for our local parkrun. On a Sunday, I can normally be found on a muddy bike ride or dog walk.
I have many years’ experience working in supported housing both at an operational and strategic level. I am passionate about improving outcomes for people facing disadvantages and believe that I can contribute my knowledge and experience to aid the strategic direction and governance of the organisation going forward.
Most recently, I have been Head of Supported Housing & Service Development at Orbit Group who are a large social landlord. I led strategic and operational oversight of a complex supported housing portfolio. My achievements included redesigning service models to deliver both financial viability and improved quality, securing new income, and leading cross-organisational transformation initiatives—such as developing and embedding a framework for reasonable adjustments and equality and diversity.
What draws me to Horton Housing is the strong commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed services and inclusive governance. I bring direct experience of designing and delivering such services in partnership with local authorities, the NHS and specialist providers, underpinned by strong commercial acumen, regulatory understanding, and governance experience. I am especially excited by Horton’s growth ambitions, the values-driven culture, and the organisation’s role as a lifeline to many underserved communities.
