I am currently working in NHS England across the North East and Yorkshire supporting the workforce agenda in collaboration with integrated partnership boards including health, social care and the voluntary sectors. I have worked in health and social care for over 40 years starting as a nurse in Bradford. I am passionate about services particularly for those whom are the most vulnerable in our society so they can live their best lives.

Horton’s track record in providing such services really resonated with me, as their continuous focus and passion in supporting those most in need is inspiring. This was a real draw for me to be able to contribute to these aims and bring my experience of the social and economic landscape to help Horton Housing further develop. I am a proud Bradford citizen and aim to keep supporting our society in the best way I can. I am thrilled to be joining Horton Housing in this endeavour. I hope to learn the depth and range of Horton Housing’s services and contribute to ongoing innovation in service development.
Away from the Board, I am a keen traveller with an enquiring mind. I am attempting to learn Italian and improve my French then turn to Spanish. I enjoy cold-water swimming and long walks.
