I have worked across the charity and social sector for quite a few years with a specialism in communications. I currently work for a Yorkshire-based Housing Association.
I joined Horton Housing’s Board because I wanted to support a local organisation and the values really resonated with me.
Being on the Board has helped me gain a broader understanding of the sector and how Horton Housing support and contribute to the local area. I also enjoy connecting with other Board members and sharing insight and ideas.
The organisation is applying a strength-based approach to their work and as I have experience working with different models, I have become the Board’s strength-based champion.
