Horton Housing Association is pleased to launch our annual donations campaign, Warm this Winter.
Thanks to the generosity of the local community, last year’s Christmas Toy Appeal was a huge success, ensuring that children across our services had a present to open on Christmas morning.
Now, as families and individuals continue to struggle with the cost of living crisis, we want to help those we support stay warm during the cold winter months.
We are specifically asking for donations of warm clothing, including coats, jumpers, fleeces, hats, scarves, gloves and socks alongside other suitable items such as unused toiletries and household goods.
Our wonderful team of volunteers will help collect, sort through and distribute the items to the people and families we support to help them over the coming months.
We also welcome any financial donations, which we will use to purchase further warm clothing to gift to those in our services.
Paul Gartland, Horton Housing CEO, said: “Each year, with the help of gracious donors, we are able to significantly expand our support to the communities we serve. This year is no different, as we plan to start our new Warm this Winter initiative.
“To make this Warm this Winter campaign a success, we are relying once again on people’s generosity and support. Their donations, will directly contribute to helping people keep warm over the Christmas and beyond.”
