Paul Gartland will be retiring from his position as Chief Executive Officer of Horton Housing Association on 31 March 2024. Paul has worked for Horton Housing for almost 36 years, the last nine as CEO.

The new CEO will be Gudrun Haskins Carlisle, the current Deputy CEO, who has 24 years’ service with the Association. She will take up the position on 1 April 2024, subject to formal ratification by the Horton Board.

During his tenure at Horton Paul has seen the Association grow from very small beginnings to the thriving organisation it is today: employing over 350 staff across West and North Yorkshire and delivering services to thousands of people each year.

Paul said: ‘I am proud of the achievements of the Association and confident that the Association made up of its Board, employees, volunteers and people in our services will continue to grow and prosper in the years to come.’

Horton Housing Association specialises in providing high quality housing, training and support for people in Bradford, Kirklees, Calderdale and North Yorkshire.
