We want you to be yourself at Horton.
You can expect to be treated fairly and with dignity throughout your time with us. Your support worker will not judge you or treat you unfairly based on your lifestyle, activities, behaviour, interests, opinions and values, and they will make sure no one else does.
You will not be treated unfairly because of the clothes you wear or the way you look, or because of your gender, race, religion, culture, beliefs, age, sexuality or disability.
We can support you to find groups or other people who have similar life experiences, beliefs or interests as you.
We will provide you with information on services in your local area for example places of worship, community centres or support groups.
The only time a support worker may raise ‘lifestyle’ with you as an issue would be if they were concerned that you or another person are at risk or if they were concerned about anything illegal such as drug use.

If you feel like you have been treated unfairly, bullied or harassed, please speak to your support worker or another member of staff to help.
