Home / Get Support / Service: NewStart

NewStart provides supported accommodation and floating (visiting) support for high risk male and female offenders and ex-offenders aged 16 and over.

The service is for those with a high degree of housing need who are at risk of re-offending. The service is aimed at people who may have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

NewStart at Home provides support in your own home or temporary accommodation, including properties managed by other social or private landlords or to people who own their home.

NewStart in the Community provides 15 units of supported accommodation, in Bradford and Shipley. Each property is self-contained and fully furnished.

The support is short-term, usually for three to six months, and you will get support to live independently and secure longer-term accommodation.
