Board Profile: Bob Clayton

I worked in mainstream housing for 25 years, retiring around three years ago. I have a special interest in the implications of welfare reform changes and how they will affect many of the people we work with in the future.

I became a member of the Horton Housing Association Board as I wanted to give something back. The opportunity arose when Horton Housing was still a very small organisation. I really thought I’d fit in and I haven’t looked back since!

Being on the Board has given me a much wider understanding of what housing is. It isn’t just about general needs, it is also about people who need housing, help and support. As Horton Housing has grown and developed, I have been able to use my area of expertise to support that growth and development.

Bob is a member of the Horton Housing Association (HHA) Board.
