The national awards, organised by the National Housing Federation, recognise the impact housing associations have on the local community. Bradford Day Shelter won the award for smaller housing associations.
NHF Community Impact Award 2015 – Bradford Respite and Integrated Care and Support Service (BRICSS)
The national awards, organised by the National Housing Federation, recognise the impact housing associations have on the local community. BRICSS won the Health and Wellbeing award which recognises projects that tackle inequalities, promote independence, improve health and wellbeing and work closely with health and social care services.

IID understand that organisations have their own unique needs and motivations when they decide to embark on the Investors in Diversity journey. For that reason, they have developed three stages of Investors in Diversity and a number of flexible delivery models to ensure there is something for everyone.
Mindful Employer
By Employers, For Employers Led and supported by employers, the MINDFUL EMPLOYER initiative is aimed at increasing awareness of mental health at work and providing support for businesses in recruiting and retaining staff.
Disability Confident Employer
The Disability Confident Employer status is awarded by Jobcentre Plus to employers who have made commitments to employ, keep and develop the abilities of disabled staff. It replaces the ‘Positive About Disabled People’ scheme.

The matrix Standard is a unique quality standard for organisations to assess and measure their advice and support services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.
CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety)
Horton Housing is accredited under the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). We are dedicated to managing health and safety to a nationally recognised and accepted standard.
