Focus:

The Bradford Homeless Partnership provides temporary and emergency accommodation and floating support for Bradford Metropolitan District Council (CBMDC) in relation to fulfilling its statutory homelessness obligations. The accommodation element of the service is delivered in partnership by Horton Housing and Bradford Cyrenians.
The service is short-term, usually for 3-6 months. There are two service strands:

• Homeless Partnership accommodation: Short term temporary and emergency accommodation for homeless adults and families who are assessed as being statutory homeless and in priority housing need or whose homeless housing status is pending investigation.
The main hub of the service is hostel based accommodation which comprises of single and family sized units with 24/7 on site support.
The service also provides a further number of clustered and dispersed single and family properties across Bradford and Keighley which provide a lower level of on-site staffing but support is available 24/7.

• Homeless Partnership floating support: Subject to referral from the Housing Options Service, floating support can also be provided to those in accommodation provided by other registered social or private landlords or to owner occupiers.

Aim:

Our aims are to:
• Provide high quality temporary and emergency accommodation for homeless people or those whose homelessness status is under investigation and/or who are threatened with homelessness. Accommodation is provided on a non-secure basis.
• Provide high quality housing management and support which is responsive to individual needs and circumstances and which will enable  clients to move on to  longer-term accommodation
